Classic Tony, in a short, quick read.

Just as the title suggested, this book feels like taking some wise advice from a friend. Rather than adding new approaches to changing one’s life, the author instead recommended a change of perspective on personal problems, which can be easily applicable to one’s daily life.

Anthony Robbins also wrote other books with longer pages, which perhaps dive deeper into the psychological reasoning behind one’s motivation and doing. If you have come across any of his books and would recommend it, do let me know.

My rating for this one is 3.8.

This is a republished, slightly updated version of a book Tony Robbins wrote in the beginning of his career. A lot of the themes are very familiar to anyone who has read some of his other works or has listened to his talks. Still a good reminder about the importance of goal setting, motivation, helping others and having a positive, problem-solving attitude in life. There is an annoying advertorial-type final chapter that advertises all the different ways in which you can become a client/stakeholder of Tony Robbins' many ventures that felt totally out of place. Hence my 3/5 rating.

Habe nicht erwartet, dass mir das Buch so gefallen wird :-) Wirklich TOP !!! Diese "Kurzfassung" motiviert mich die Langfassung zu lesen ;-)
