I liked how the romance build up, and particularly how the conflicts were solved with communication, and unconditional love.
The portrait of disability felt grounded and real. And the way identity is approached is compelling.

OBSESSED with this series, devoured the first two books too quickly. Loved the ace rep, the disabled rep, the neurodivergent rep; the tagalog sprinkled in *chefs kiss*; the HEA including community care & direct action, you love to see it. The cliffhanger though, left me waiting impatiently for more!!

I really really liked this book. The first one was fine, but I think the characters in this one were just better. The tension between Clem and Justin was so good, especially the complexity of dealing with grief and self discovery. Plus this is probably the best demi-sexual rep I've seen that was also acknowledged too.
I'm taking a star off because the background of this pharmaceutical company being the bad guy is good, but feels pretty half hearted... like it feels like there's 10 people working there and they're all kinda dumb. I'm hoping there's another one though since it ended on a cliff hanger.

Also I'm not sure why the audiobook cover and the regular book cover are so different, Justin is totally whitewashed??
