This wasn't my favorite book in the series, but it wasn't in any way bad. It was just another good addition to the series, which definitely left me hungry for more. I can't wait until the next book comes out! In the meantime I think I'll try Andrews's other series.

Awesome review, I know. Consider yourself fully informed :D

That was Awesome!! My favorite of the series! Full of action and Curran! They made me laugh so many times. I can not wait to see what happens next! Such a magical world with interesting characters... I can't say enough about how much I loved it:)

This series has been consistently good, I’m so amazed at how engaged and hooked I still am so many books and novellas in. Book five was a twisty and entertaining ride, Ilona Andrews keeps delivering awesome books—Kate Daniels has become a favorite series and I am in for the long haul now.

Graphic Audio does wonderful interpretations so I revisited this title once they published their version. It's always good and most times I even prefer it to the text version. Kate now has her own office but has a hard time finding new clients, until the Red Guard asks for her help. Julie has once again ran away from school, and is walking back home. Note that this audiobook also contains the "magic tests" short story in the voice of Julie.
