nelesnotes's review against another edition

DID NOT FINISH: 13%

This edition just felt like a self-praise for how genius the author and the concept is. Also, as someone with autism, it feels like it says, that everyone who's lacking emotional intelligence (which is a usual autism trait) is a useless piece of shit. Couldn't figure out from when this edition was though, so probably outdated anyway.
So yeah. Not for me.

Redundant. It keeps repeating the same idea again and again, elaborating the same stance in multiple wording which results in hundreds of pages of blubbering mess.

Well, despite being a well-written book, yet it is outrated one! I wished if the author went deeper scientifically with his approach when it comes to Emotional Intelligence, yet all that has been mentioned was quite not scientific.

Still, no regrets about reading it :)

This book is right up my alley and one of the main reasons why I enjoy non-fiction so much. I highly recommend this, mostly for those who are responsible for kids emotional growth (i.e. parents, teachers).
