C'est l'histoire d'un appel à l'aide et d'une vengeance ingénieuse qui montre que parfois la plume est effectivement plus forte que l'épée.

Almost shocking how powerful ~60 pages of epistolary writing can be and how adeptly they depict how quickly political fervor can morph a person you once thought to know. The ending letters were masterful and an ingenious form of rebellion. As relevant and prescient of a read now as it was upon publication in 1938.
