This book touched my heart and I cannot recommend it hard enough. Filled with fun, friendship, and all the sprinkles of awkwardness of being in middle school STP is charmingly honest. It manages to balance themes of loss without diminishing the magic of what it means to be a kid. The vibrant graphics don't hurt either
The art was beautiful and I enjoyed the story. First read of 2021!!

The art is super cute, but I didn’t find the story very compelling. Even for a younger audience, it was very predictable and I didn’t feel connected to the characters. It has really beautiful artwork though!

Unfortunately this comic has a style that just doesn't work well with my brand of neurodivergence. Not the comic's fault, but with no narration between direct speech, I miss a lot of things that are probably being said between the lines.
