This book is wonderful. It’s all about growing up, how it can be scary and exciting and confusing and sad all at once.
At first I thought the book wasn’t very good. I thought it was weird. Not very interesting. But then the farther I got into it, the more and more interesting it got. I thought the main character, Lora, was weird because she’s a 12 year old and she still plays pretend and likes dolls and stuff like that. But then I thought about it, I read more of the book and it’s actually very cool. That she can still do all sorts of stuff like that without worrying what other people are going to think of her.

Beautiful, emotional, lively story about the difficulty transitioning from a child to a teen, about friendship, about self discovery and confidence. Fantastic book for kids aged 9-13.
Very cute.

Not in love that she had to miss prom.

Oh my, this was the cutest read ever! I loved this story. It was so magical and whimsical and autumnal! It reminded me a lot of Anya’s ghost. Very nice read, would recommend
Settling in for what I thought would be just a cute graphic novel, I sucker-punched by an unexpectedly sad ending. Preceded by a beautiful coming-of-age tale, “Seance Tea Party” deserves praise for its poignant story wrapped up in a clean, warm artistic style. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Well if this wasn't the cutest little delight of a story and I cried because it was so sweet, happy and sad all at the same time. Takes place in that inbetween time of wanting to grow up and stay young at the same time. I loved the friendships and the whimsical feeling with a little hint of magic in there! It was a well developed story overall. Loved.
Heartwarming middle grade graphic novel about growing up and being yourself
