Love this series, so fun and I enjoy the cast of chaotic but loveable characters. It’s a pretty fast read, took me only a few days to finish and I would read chunks of it at a time.

I really liked the first half of this book but the surprise pregnancy caught me off guard. I really dislike that trope in rom coms and I probably should have looked into it before reading, so that’s on me.

I think it would have been a more satisfying character arc for Winnie to get an abortion when she found out she was pregnant. Then there could have been something else that drew Kallum and her back together and the epilogue could have included them getting pregnant on their own accord.

The spice was great! Winnie coming to terms with her sexuality and working through her purity culture trama is 10/10, I just wish the 2nd half took a different turn.

Vacation book! I like this boy band thing and this confident dad bod thing. The purity thing was gross. Boo to that. Also, pregnancy in my romance is a no go for the most part. This scenario called for an abortion. For all we talk about abortion, more people in chick lit should be having them.

Sierra Simone is one of those authors that I will always pick up. This book fit two prompts for me and was totally adorable. It’s lighthearted and funny. It’s all about self discovery (maybe a theme for me this year) and second chances. 3.5 ⭐️
