Spring Break is a vibe - until someone gets murdered! 🔪

Once I got into this one I didn’t want to put it down! There are quite a few characters so it took me a while to get to grips with that!

The story is told in the POV of a few of the characters and the timeline does jump back and forth too.

I wasn’t sure who was trustworthy, everyone seemed pretty shady to me. I think I pointed the finger at each of them at some point.

This was a great YA thriller definitely one to pick up if you love a good mystery thriller.

One of the characters got me so enraged. I'm not sure if she was the one killed, but oh, how I hope so! She's an entitled, elitist, classist, generally awful person. and I wanted someone to throat-punch her already! She also acted like being offline for a few days was the world's end.

The premise is mysterious. But the action dragged. I lost track of time in the story. It happens so slowly but feels like it’s spread out of a full week. There didn’t feel like any urgency. It’s just everyone accusing each other over and over. There was no real evidence, no real impetus for anyone to do any digging. I was underwhelmed by the climax. I was underwhelmed by the romance. It might have been more interesting if the other characters had had POV instead of just the two mains.

I liked this book, a nice quick mystery but there were times where it felt like the plot was being drug out for the sake of creating suspense. I also felt like the multi pov was okay but I would have liked it to the one or the other just because it made the chapters really short and and so many of them for such a short book. Overall this was a good book.
