Solid first volume that would have had a stronger impact if I felt connected to any of the characters. This may be a failure in the writing. Most of the characters in this series are reincarnated versions of gods or mythical beings. ( Also, I have a moderate knowledge of mythology and I think you need at least that to enjoy this book. The more knowledge of god and goddesses the better. ) It is possible they want us to have some emotional distance from them, as a sort of real world parallel. The consequence of that is that the reader is just not as invested as they could be.
However, when your plot is about how one of your characters may have been framed for murder, it would be nice to be invested in what happens to them. Maybe even to have an opinion on whether or not they did it based on what I have learned about them and not just what i know - or don't - about their original myth.
A clear case of style over substance, but I like the style enough that I will probably keep going but I don't have any urgency to.

An interesting thought of gods and how they would interact with the world.
Beautiful art, but I feel like the story could have been so much more - I mean, reborn gods? It could have been awesome, and maybe my expectations were a bit high, but I was left feeling mostly like "meh."

No matter how many times I read the first issue of this series I always enjoy it and find myself loving luci
The art is gorgeous and the premise is gorey and fascinating. I will read more.

The idea was something, the artwork was stupidly beautiful, but I'm not that interested in continuing the story.
ART WAS FANTASTIC, THE COLORS WERE AMAZING, THE PLOT AND THE CHARACTERS WERE REALLY WEAK,
Like it was enjoyable and really fun but I'm not rushing for more. So pretty though, the illustrations are stunning
