So glad I got to experience this book and the world that Darrow lives in. This is a true dystopia novel, complete with diverse characters, complicated histories, high stakes, and how far a person will go to get what they want.
The complex ranking system, high society and the way the characters interact with such complex issues is so brilliantly stated. I love this book so much and the audio quality and performances of the complete cast make this so much more enthralling to experience. I love seeing Darrow and his growth, as an individual and as his worldview gets wider.
Dare I say, this book rivals my love for the hunger games series. I have been chasing this same high since reading and I've finally found another series just as good.
I could not recommend this book enough.
