Loved this book. I really can't say enough about how thought out this plot was and is, I can see a clear set up for things to come in the series and it makes me excited to continue the series. I would recommend this book to anyone that liked the hunger games or academy stories. This is not for those triggered by mentions of assault, brutality, or slavery. The themes are on the darker side of what happens when power gets out of control but was a great read and intense. Leaving me wanting more and more with each page I turned( or listened). Ultimately, this gave me faith in books again and I was glad I picked it up.
