Details, Details, Details! Good Book, but I felt like there was more focus on her father, than her in the book, I was disappointed with the Lack of details of her friendships, and relationships. All in all though it was a good book and now I think I need to read her father's book and John Gotti's Daughter's book.
Pleasantly surprised.
But not impressed with her writing technique.
But it was fun getting inside of Karen's head.

Love Mob Wives, the writing was a little inconsistent and there was a lot of repetition it was still interesting.
The writing is passable but not spectacular, which is about what I expected. I checked this one out from the library, which is the way I recommend reading it. I watched a season or two of mob wives AGES ago and as of right now do not even know if it is still on the air or not because I am too lazy to look. The story is interesting but not necessarily Karen's perspective. I will definitely be reading her father's book when I get a chance.
You can tell the book is primarily written by Karen, it has her voice and flavor to it. That being said, I don't think this was the most well-written book I've read, but it's a fascinating look at a gritty, dirty and yet still glamorous life. A great guilty-pleasure read.
This book was okay. I admittedly only picked it up because I was curious about it since I had been watching the reality tv series "Mob Wives". If it hadn't been for that show I doubt I would have continued reading it. It was basically a super simplistic telling of her life and what made her who she is today. Not a whole lot of depth to it and a bit confusing in the jumping from here to there. It was just okay.
This was an interesting insight into Karen Gravano's life and what it was like to be the daughter of one of the most famous mobsters. I don't envy all the turmoil she went through. It was refreshing to read about her getting her life together.
The book is poorly written, jumping from one subject to the next in the same paragraph. The only reason I read it was I watch Mob Wives every week and reality is my weakness. I do have to hand it to Karen, she's brave in showing her face and story of things that she is obviously not proud of. Could I have done the same? I don't know. I do want to read her father, Sammy the Bull's book to compare. I initially gave the book two stars but didn't think that was fair because the story is real and it took a lot of courage to tell it.
