I'm a big fan of both Salley Vickers and short stories in general, but I felt like this one missed the mark a bit. There were a few stories in there that I liked, but I felt like this writing doesn't really lend itself to her style.

I'm not accustomed to reading short stories and didn't realise this was a short-story collection when I picked it up in a charity shop but this was an interesting collection. Some stories I really enjoyed, some were less enjoyable. A quick read and an insight into human psychology and the complexities of life.

A beautiful collection of short stories about love - some happy, some sad, some about romantic love, some about platonic love. Definitely one I want on my bookshelf...
