Was a wild ride. Didn’t grip me like I wished it would. Very interesting line between real and imagination. Keep your creatures close and your friends closer.

It reached a point where it became very boring, and I can’t really say that sticking out to the end was very rewarding. The whole book reminded me very much of Pretty Little Liars or The Lying Game, which I read in middle school, so maybe that was also why I couldn’t really take the book too seriously. It felt like it was trying to be shocking and provocative, but just felt cheap instead. I wish I could judge the language, but sadly I read it in translation.
