This was challenging (in a good way) and helpful in parts, but probably a little too woo-woo for me in the end. This definitely isn't your standard devotional, and I imagine there are people who have a problem with it. I have no issues with the author's expression of faith, and a few of her takes were even enlightening for me. My issue was in feeling disconnected from and unmoved by a lot of it. If I was someone who felt connected with God through nature, was interested in hearing stories about experiences with nature, etc.—and maybe I should be—I would've gotten more out of this.
