August is a time, a place and a person. My heart. I don’t know what I expected going into this book other than that I had high hopes following Red, White and Royal Blue. This book is magic, love, fairytales, friendship and life rolled into one epic journey I don’t ever want to get off. I laughed, I dreamed and I cried at this book. Jane + August forever.

I really think that there’s nothing Casey McQuiston can’t do, but one thing they’re REALLY good at is making me cry. I love a good found family trope, and I love a good NYC romance, but this was so much more and I adore it
