So usually  I do not read these types of books- I dont usually read books with models like this on the front  but after Audioable  played me a snippet and it was so similar to a role play im currently  doing ( dont judge me , I dont have the attention  span to write a full book ) and I had to read it 

One thing that confused me about  the cover is Preston has black hair... both models have blonde hair 

The plot is very tramau based , and most of the book. Its just full of red flags - but as rhe book goes on Preston starts to heal and goes to therepy  which we love - i doubt i will read the rest of the series

TLDR: Solid read. Hurt/comfort through and through.

This is a gay hockey romance enemies to lovers style. Two people figuring out how to support each other. Really dark events and themes. Read your trigger warnings if you need to. Lots of sex scenes. Not for a closed door reader. Actual hockey in the hockey romance. Overall I felt it was a very nice story.

I can't remember the last time a book made me cry this much. No child should ever have to go through something like that💔 I'm glad Preston got his happy ending ❤️

I really liked this book. The way Preston and Jeremy cared for one another so perfectly always knowing what the other needed was so good it really made me feel like they were meant for one another and that they would really last. I loved prestons relationship with Jeremy’s family it was so cute and loved the way their teammates protected Preston. Also just really liked their dynamic and how they complemented one another it was really enjoyable to read.
