The saga continues and you can't help but love this couple. It was satisfying and swoon worthy - you won't be disappointed.

Smart, Sexy, and Secretive is the second installment for The Reed Brothers series. It follows Emily going back to California and has Logan wondering if and when Emily will come back to him and New York. Well, one doesn't have to find out what happens between these two because they are reunited rather quickly. I really enjoyed that because there wasn't a long drawn out wait or a crap ton of drama involved.. it was two people who loved each other unconditionally and reunited again. It was beautifully written and I loved the less drama route.

Well, of course there was drama in this book. Emily's dad was the main cause of it. I honestly hate her dad. He was such a douche because of how he made everyone on the damn planet know that he disapproves of Logan. The whole bringing the ex-boyfriend back into the picture doesn't really seem like a play that a dad would do.. more like a mom move or even step mom move. It just didn't sit right with me and I didn't enjoy that aspect at all. Mostly because I could never see my dad pulling that on me. I can totally see the "no one guy is good enough for my daughter" route though.. but bringing the ex back?? Nah. I just can't see it.

In the end, I was really happy that Logan and Emily were back together. Especially after the ending in Tall, Tatted, and Tempting. I was dying for another book and it took me forever to realize that there was one already. I loved getting to see them again and I really enjoyed reading about their amazing relationship too. These two could do no wrong in my eyes.

Absolutely love Logan and his brothers. Emily is freaking adorable even though she has a crappy family. Now I'm officially sad that it's over. I want another book to bring me joy.

Great followup - but they could have been tied into one book instead of two.

1st read 3-21-16
2nd read - 7-1-18

I finished this book and loved the easiness of the storyline. The writing was amazing and really kept me intrigued throughout the whole of the book. The characters are so captivating and the conflict is so well written within the story. I love the whole book and it adds to the rest of the series.

I heart the Reed brothers. Totally and completely love them.

I didn't love this one as much as the 1st one, only because I really hated Trip and Emily's dad. It was nice to see more of the family in this one and watch as Logan fought to keep his girl. I'm super excited for the next book, as it's Pete's story and as much as I love Logan and Em, I'm ready for the other boys to find their girl.

Wonderful story - I don't always go for romance but this is the type of romance I can get behind.

Yay! Another book about Logan and Emily! After the unbelievably frustrating ending of the last one, I powered through this one pretty quick. I loved the romance, and the Reed brothers together as family, helping and supporting Emily.

I felt like the whole scene where Emily finally wins over her dad and he starts to accept everything was kinda cheesy...I don't know why, it just didn't really feel sincere. Don't get me wrong, he makes up for everything, but I am still not a fan.

I loved Logan in this book, he was strong, putting up with everything, handling it with grace (aside from a couple of punches) and never stopping.

Excited to read about the rest of the brothers!

Not that I don't love Logan. But I'm loving the love between Emily and Matt. So sweet.
