This was a nice conclusion to Emily and Logan's story. Things worked out just a little too perfectly to be realistic but I don't read books like this for their realism. The author created a nice cast of characters with very interesting backgrounds.

I really really like this series and Reed brothers. This story is actually my most favourite.

Ok once I got over the narration I enjoyed the book. I didn’t really like the drama of the ex stuff this book really didn’t need all that. Logan and Emily really have a great HEA type of story.

I guess I think the parent story line was enough conflict that it just didn’t need the ex stuff.

I am rooting for Matt, I love that the Brothers all have their own connection with Emily. It made it feel more like family.

After enjoying the first book in this series I was expecting good things from this book but I was left a little disappointed. I love Logan and Emily's relationshipe but I felt it the story was too short and rushed in places. The way Emily's dad had a change of heart 'just like that' didn't come across as believable and I would have liked to have known more about Pete's situation, it just seemed to get forgotten in a sense. A quick, easy read, just lacked that extra something.

Book 1 ended with Kat (real name Emily) leaving Logan and returning to SF.
Now it's 3 months later, and Emily has gotten acceptance to go to Juliard and she secretly hopes that being in the same city (NYC) will reunite her with Logan. After all now he knows that she left him in accordance with the deal she made with her father to pay for the costly cancer treatments for Matt (Logan's older brother). Will he forgive her for just leaving him like that?

This one had a bit more sex than book 1, much to my dismay. I was concerned it would overshadow the story. I loved how committed Logan and Emily despite her father's best attempt to pair her with his protégé Tripp.

The relationship between Logan and his 3 brothers remains the best thing in this book. Brothers have so much love and support, and they've embraced Emily. This isn't the typical tattoo artist/rocker romance I'm used to. I liked this story because character connection engaged me. The main characters were very likable and I was hopepeful for their future together. I like that peace was achieved and relationships were repaired.
The writing was enjoyable, and I plan to read more from this author in the future.
