This was ridiculously fast paced, it absolutely flew by! Now that I know what kind of weirdness to expect I fell right into the story....planetary sized embryo and all! This was every bit as fucked up and sexy as the first one, and I looooved the self-aware bookworm element.

I liked the first in the series but this one I loved. In this one you slowly start to see what it's all about. It's odd and startling but so smart and well done. I can't wait to read the next.

I really enjoyed this one but the first one was just brilliant. I'm enjoying this series a lot - especially how diverse the characters and creatures are.
