The perfect horror comedy. The art, the color, the vibes. Utterly delightful.

I’ve never seen a room or 40 second graders quieter than when I read this one! We LOVED it so much! We were scared, we laughed and giggled, and we even practiced cause and effect skills! Such a great read aloud that kids are kids and adults will love!

This book put a big smile on my face. If I was still reading to Nephew, I think its the kind of book he would have loved.
Amazing artstyle. The whole thing is black and white Art Noir style with only the color purple. It's like a spooky movie style story. Our rabbit is a little lazy and so the purple crayon seems like a blessing until it turns into a curse.
There are some amazing puns in here. Fantastic!! This story was smart and fun and lifted my spirits. It's the perfect creepy for the beginning age range too. I'm glad I read this.

I did not do this book with the right age group.
For my storytime kiddos of 2-5 year olds, they loved the toilet ;) Understanding school and homework.....most of the kids are not that age yet. Beginning Kindergarteners (or first graders) would have adored this book.
Still, it is another fun edition to add to the saga of Jasper Rabbit.
