Adrian is too much of an insufferable sad boy for my taste. Caroline is a believable, albeit somewhat irritating, character and I personally feel she deserves better. The premise is interesting but the delivery fell flat. I was tempted to dnf several times.

Thank you netgalley and PRH audio for the free ALC in exchange for my honest review. I found this unique but not sure it worked for me, exchanging money in a relationship is kind of ick for me.
