This was a cute story. I would love the author to revisit this book and world and make it even grander, it’s like the author gave us a tease of the world. Call me Kylo Ren but I wanted mooooore. The author has a fascinating world sketched out in this book, and I desperately wanted it to be developed more, because it’s interesting in this book but it’s basically a tease, so much more could have been done and explained and colored in. Filled in plot holes but mostly given this world the detail and explanation it deserves, because it’s really heckin’ cool and has so much potential.
I am glad I read it, but do have so many questions that are necessarily for explanation in the next book, I wanted them explained in this book.
For a fun, quick romantasy I recommend this and enjoyed it.
