A wonderful collection of poetry for all of life's ups and downs. The themes are fluid and subtle but still mesh together well, as you journey through life through some of the world's most famous and Aoibhín's favourite poems.

I liked this! I didn’t love every poem but it was a nice way to figure out what kinda poetry I enjoy:
I don’t like nature/parenthood/motherhood poems but I do like poems about the sea/love/friendship/time.
I also just like pretty words and this had a lot of them. I struggled to understand some esp the 1800s/Shakespearean kind. But it was a really good mix of themes and writing styles and I found some great poems I loved!
