Great continuation and context for more of the world and characters in the hunger games world. Absolutely heart breaking and just emotional beyond belief, but, unpopular opinion, i think I may have preferred ballade even more. Still a great read, curious to see the movie!

Haymitch's story is as sad as the rest. It was interesting to look back at the previous games and hear the story of how Haymitch won.

Some of the book felt a little convenient to build the plot in future books.
