Alex Cross is still a favorite of mine. I liked the twists in the tale and I'm looking forward to the next edition as it should combine Lindsay Boxer and Alex Cross.

another great book in the Alex Cross series.....Alex has to go up against Kyle again, hopefully, for the last time.

Definitely better than his last few. This was a nice, suspenseful, quick read, but Patterson is still guilty of a lot of very lazy storytelling.

Fast-paced read with a compelling plot. Lots of mystery, suspense and twists. My version is 356 pages and I read it in two days, if that is any indication.

James Patterson...is kind of back. The book didn't have as much "suspense" as I wanted, everything was so drawn out and then "poof!" everything was just solved. I like Patterson (no LOVE) when he draws out the chase a little bit more. 20 or so pages dedicated to the fight between Cross and Craig? That could have been a whole book in itself! Boo!

There's not a whole lot to say about this - it's pretty much your standard James Patterson book.
1. There's a bad guy/s.
2. Alex Cross is on the case.
3. Alex Cross is having some kind of turbulence in his love life, which resolves itself when the bad guys threaten his family.
4. There's a twist in the case.
5. The bad guys get caught/killed.

As with all James Patterson books, it was a really quick read. The action is pretty constant, and the characters are familiar.

It was enjoyable, but predictable.

Book #11 read in 2015

The story was good. The narration was not as good as it is normally.

Back on track in this fast paced book. This one has lots of personal steps in the Alex Cross Family as well as a visit from our favorite bad guy.
