Beautiful storytelling and nice to see Elektra defined by something other than sad and bad men.

Although the artwork and coloring were aesthetically pleasing and a unique style, the plot and writing were deeply unoriginal and anticlimactic for me. The author's wording and storyline were extremely simplistic, even for a comic book, and led to a predictable ending that left much to be desired. I came into the book openminded and hoping for an action-packed and intriguing story about a badass female assassin. Instead, I was left disappointed and underwhelmed just like Elektra in the end. So there's that. I wouldn't recommend this to readers who are unfamiliar with Daredevil and Elektra or know nothing about Marvel as there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the characters and backstory leading up to the story in this volume.

Fine, but weird. I liked the art and I liked Elektra, but the story was a bit too bizarre for my tastes.

I've always loved Elektra. The artwork was stunning and very modern. Docked a star as the plot was confusing at points.

Gutes Werk.

Amazing art. Like, blow your mind, why the FUCK can't Del Mundo draw ALL THE COMICS EVER art.

Story, eh.

Del Mundo's art is so lush and superb, it's a shame the story doesn't do much to elevate it. This is a little too detached and trying too hard to nail a certain tone that the stylization gets in its own way.

The art is incredibly beautiful. The rest... not so much.

All I want to say to the creators of the Daredevil TV show is this... This book has Elektra skydiving onto Monster Island while a dinosaur tries to eat her and a bad guy who has to eat human flesh!
Comics!
