what the f was this??!!!
you get no introduction to the characters and its world. even when you get ahold of everything i couldn´t care less what was going to happen to the characters.
it is boring while too much is happening. how can that be??

No spoilers BUT GOD IT WAS SO NICE TO BE IN THIS WORLD AGAIN!!! I love Ronan and Adam and dare I say it...I'm starting to love Declan too. Plus, there were some really interesting new characters! I gotta say though, forgot how painful it is to follow a series as it comes out; I just want book 2 already :'(

This was my first book by Maggie Stiefvater. I was totally immersed in the world and believed in the characters, even of they weren't wholly likeable all of the time.

This has put The Raven Boys on my radar, although I don't think I'm reading the series in the right order.

As always Ronan (and Adam) were amazing and I actually really loved the new characters + I really started to like the other Lynch brothers! The dreamer plot continues to be great.

On weekdays, he gave in to the impulse of adding to his strange herds. On weekends, he spent his Mass regretfully apologizing to God for his hubris.

I loved it. I hated it. Adam wears a tweed vest in it, which I have a lot of feelings about.

okay, listen up. this is a really good spin off series, because it manages to stay within the same world and yet invent itself entirely new. i loved it, though a lot of that may be because i’m obsessed with ronan.

that aside, this book was a little messy. i fully understand why it had to be messy, because all characters and concepts needed to be introduced, a story had to be set up, but it was quite exhausting to read at times, and i cannot begin to describe to you how often i had to stop myself from just skimming through certain parts because i was like “god, i don’t care, get me to the story lines i care about”, but in the end everything ran together very nicely, and i have great hope that the next book will be an even better read.
