The Fatphobia was a bit triggering but Julians character development was nice! I loved how he stood up to his mom.

I really wanted to like this when I got sucked in to the advertisement on Instagram, but I didn’t feel like there was much between the two MCs.
They were work colleagues, but they also described each other as friends/best friends. In what world? It seemed like they just worked together and hung out regularly there.
I wasn’t too thrilled on Seamus using Julian to satisfy his curiosity. It felt a little gross at times. I also wasn’t too sure why Seamus past needed to be brought up so much. It felt like it kind of played into the story but it wasn’t necessary.
Julian was hit or miss. I wish the fatphobia wasn’t shoved in our face left, right, and center. I wish Julian became more confident without having Seamus build him up. His persona outside the bedroom vs in it was so wildly different, it felt like the author was writing about two separate characters.
Overall, it was fine. It took me a bit to get through, but I didn’t dislike it. I’ll probably read Chase’s book and call it good with this author/series.

I enjoyed this book so much, it was those perfect sweet and steamy vibes for me. Also I'm weak for fat rep and Julian had my heart instantly, just adored him and Seamus is wonderful.
This book had me hooked with all of its charm and I adored the romance between Seamus & Julian. Their friendship is amazing to start and their relationship developing only adds to those feels.
I connected to Julian so much with his thoughts and seeing his growth in confidence through the story was wonderful. Seamus may have been a support in that, but his finally coming to love himself regardless was perfect.
Also the spice is great, its a lot of firsts for both of them and I adored all their laughter along the way. It was lovely, to see their chemistry and dirty talk - these two have fun together and I adored every moment.
The fallout was somewhat predictable but it worked for me and I loved how they reunited, Julian's grandma is a delight and I'm always a fan of dancing scenes.
Of course the rest of the friend group is incredible too! I enjoy their texts and support of one another, the partners having their own little group too was sweet.
Honestly this just came at the perfect time and provided a comfort feels good read,. With of course a beautiful happy ending
