Content warnings I wish the book gave:
Spoiler fatphobia towards a main character, narcissistic parent, mention of family member with an eating disorder, character with gambling addiction (in recovery), discussion of what the MC did while dealing with his addiction

i’ve been waiting for Jules’ and Seamus' book for a while now, and i was so happy it was finally here.
while this book could’ve really really benefited from a content warning page, i still found them to be a really cute pair.

AUDIO REVIEW

Ah, my heart 🥺

This one was just so sweet. Julian is such a loveable character and you just want to give him the biggest hug. And Seamus was so good to Julian. The way he would talk him up and get mad if Julian put himself down made my heart feel so full.

I loved this one but I always love a good friends to lovers so it's no surprise.

4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love the story and series :)

Such a fun, sweet and funny series!
Loved the MCs: Jules, a sweet guy with ab it more to love and Seamus, trying to get out from massive debt. Despite their issues, they manged to be cheerful, generous, fun. The story itself is not new, a straight friend 'helping' their gay friend, but this was done with humour, sensitivity and a sense of true affection (tho' Jules always had a crush on Seamus).
Fun secondary characters from the previous books, and a hilarious, potty-mouthed Gran. It was also great to see Greg and Ethan from the Browerton series.
Loved it!

DID NOT FINISH

The MCs have zero chemistry, and the set up for them getting together is beyond awkward and unbelievable

Julian is a complete no experience virgin and Seamus is new to being with a man. Julian is totally in love with his best friend Seamus and while Seamus is going to teach Julian all his physical firsts, Julian is going to teach Seamus about the deepest of love! Julian is so insecure and sensitive and has only ever wanted Seamus. When Seamus decides to help Julian, he is so determined to make it all perfect for Julian. This was so sweet at the start, and I enjoyed all the fumbling first experiences. These two have so much chemistry and comfort with each other that things just naturally become quite sensual and spicy! The Dirtying Talk was surprising, and I was so there for it! Wonderfully romantic friends to lover's romance.
