This might have been my favorite of the series. I'm a huge fan of friends to lovers. And their friend group is so sweet and supportive.

I'm also a sucker for a bi awakening, as I love seeing people realize their feelings and work their way to understanding that it's OK to be who they authentically are. So this was great.

But also? Julian's mom? Hated her. Don't care about her "apology", which was just a mean girl confession. Grandma was amazing though.

And we better get to see Pops wedding in book 4!

Julian and Seamus were so cute! I could totally relate to Julian, and it was so sweet seeing their relationship grow!

I loved Julian and Seamus and their low key love story. I’m a fan of the friends-to-lovers trope, and these two pull it off with humor and sweetness. They each bring baggage (tons of it) to their burgeoning relationship, but they don’t let it deter them from trying. They’re supportive and amazing in the ways only people who truly care about one another can be. This had a great HEA, and I can’t wait for the next book after the teaser here either…

very smutty, funny, not exactly a slow burn but emotional slow burn i guess. glad to see some fat character representation and the way that effects every part of someones life.

I jumped into this series in the middle. I really like Julian as a character, he's self conscious of his weight and has a ton of familial pressure. Seamus is his friend and fellow teacher. Seamus has his own problems.

I'm still not 100% sure how they struck the bargain. I have to believe Seamus motivation was that he was really curious because a straight guy would never.

They are sweet and supportive of each other and their friendship deepens over the course of the list they are working through.

Really enjoyed the side characters. Julian's grandma and Seamus's roommates.
