A little more predictable than the rest but I still loved it. I can’t wait for the next Erika Foster installment!

A strong-paced plot but a little missing at the end -3.5*

I forgot about this series... This is the problem with binge-reading a series in 2020: you can't remember anything about it. Thankfully for me, there was a lot of little reminders to help jog my memory.

I love Detective Erika Foster. I would have rated it 4* but I feel like the ending was rushed and I'd have liked a little more for the final capture of the murderer.

I'm looking forward to [b:Lethal Vengeance|181334409|Lethal Vengeance (Detective Erika Foster, #8)|Robert Bryndza|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1687849160l/181334409._SY75_.jpg|186177683] in 2024. Hopefully, I won't forget about it again.

A little graphic at the beginning but the best line was:
“We’re a little like a police station with no rest rooms- nothing to go on.”

I have loved every book in this series so far and this was no exception. It's just a shame there was such a long wait between books 6 and 7. This is such a page turner and I didn't want to put it down. After a recent reading slump it was definitely great for getting me back on track.

I shouted out loud several times - those twists are intense. INTENSE.
Finally Bryndza returns to Erika Foster - and I was not disappointed. I'm thirst trapped for the next book!
Erika finds herself walking her new neighborhood -- and of course stumbles onto a crime scene. A woman finds her sister brutally stabbed to death, rolled in her sofa bed.
Vicky recently began her own true crime podcast. But her latest episode wasn't uploaded. And her mic is missing. Her latest story concerns young women assaulted at Vicky's alma mater - a small drama school in south London.
Erika struggles to readjust her working relationship with Peterson. She bought a house - lol! Now tasked with buying essentials like a bed.
Lots of great humor but most importantly great suspense and thrills!
