This one felt like it was flailing a bit for the thread. Still good, but all the were pieces scattered around and struggling to come together. I also feel like they did Bobbie a bit of a disservice somehow. I suddenly didn’t like her that much anymore, and then she died. It kind of seemed like the authors decided they needed to whittle the cast back down to the original four. Clarissa in the last one and Bonnie now. They spent 30 years as part of the crew (though off screen), and don’t seem to have left much of a mark on their crew mates.

This book was exciting and all, but it really just wanted me to be sad. I liked it, even through the tears. I'm not ready for this series to end!
