In the space of a week, Kaitlyn and Martin have gone from being as close to strangers as two people can get to taking their first tentative steps in a relationship. But Kaitlyn's inexperience and Martin's waspish quick temper are causing some problems. Adding to their problems are their families who could well end their relationship before it's even begun.

Elements of Chemistry is three books, but it's really one story in three acts. I plan to review all three books together after I've read the final book, but this the second instalment is excellent. Penny Reid is a writer for readers. I mean she recognises that people who read tend to be a little smarter than your average joe and her books reflect that knowledge.

Oh man this one was so full of emotions, vulnerability, openness and pain.

This whirlwind romance may have unforeseen consequences. Can Parker & Martin cope?

UGH PENNY.

I think what I really need to do it just stick to her beard series. Because those are at least amusing. This book isn't funny OR realistic. YOU'VE BEEN DATING A WEEK. GET OVER IT.

Geez, just when I thought Martin had redeemed himself he screws up BIG time! This installment sure did a one-eighty from the first. The overall tone of this one was gut-wrenching! 😫
