Geez, just when I thought Martin had redeemed himself he screws up BIG time! This installment sure did a one-eighty from the first. The overall tone of this one was gut-wrenching! 😫

I loved this one even more then the first one. Katy finally opens up to Martin plus you finally get the whole story on Martin as well. It made me empathize with him even more. In the first book you always wonder why he does the things he does & if he knows how to be "nice". You understand everything about him in this one plus the steamy scenes between him & Katy are amazing. Love them. The ending broke my heart, I hated it. Why? Why? Why? that's soo cruel but I also understand why he couldn't give up the plans to ruin his father. But it's still hurt. *crying face*

I loved this book! Part two out of three and this is the stress point. I loved the fact that this was a real conflict and that just made my heart hurt more for Parker.

These aren’t as good as my other Penny Reid books but they’re still great and i love them.
