Not up to the usual quality
After having read much of the author’s other work, this book was a disappointment. Perhaps there was a change in editorial support that would account for this. Dialogue between characters was overly repetitive as if they all suffered from short term memory issues. At one point, characters even contradicted themselves within the same conversation.

The Dewberry Farm series has moved into my favorite series. The mysteries and sleuthing are believable and fun. I never manage to figure out whodunit ahead of time, but I always enjoy the puzzle and following along with Lucy and the other characters to reach the conclusion. Definitely recommend the series to anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries!
