Thrilling read about double agents between Russia and US. Efficient and entertaining. Overall, plot was excellent. The recipes at the end of each chapter were a nice touch.

Couple of critiques:

1. The love story was well written but could have used a bit more development - it was pretty obvious that plot line was going to happen.
2. Plot was pretty linear. No surprises as such. Everything was telegraphed.
3. The US Senator plotline was exposed and resolved too easily. There were earlier threads that disappeared.

Who said the Cold War was over? CIA agent Nathaniel Nash will protect his Russian informants at any cost. This becomes more difficult when Russian “Red Sparrow”, Dominika Egorova is assigned to track Nathaniel. Between Dominika, high-tech tracking devices, and Americans turned Russian moles, the spy game has just gotten a lot harder.
Excellent debut by ex-CIA operations agent Jason Matthews, someone who has been there, done that!

This thrilling spy story provided an interesting look into the world of espionage and double crossing. While a little slow-moving for my liking, I still found myself thrilled with every twist and turn.

This was a good spy novel. Pretty good character development. Predictable all the way through which is why I give it a 3.

This is a CIA/SVR spy/live story which has a few to many cliches about the evils of each service. I would have given this a 2 star rating of it hadn't been for the Interesting aura seeing capabilities of the Russian spy which definitely added a needed element to an otherwise tiring plot. Probably won't be reading next book in series.

In the best possible way, this reads like an unused plot for Alias. The identity of the Russian mole was too predictable, but otherwise I really liked this book.

Very entertaining spy thriller. Loved the inclusion of a recipe at the end of each chapter, it really added to the atmosphere of the whole story.
