I am still very much in doubt about my rating as this book had me hooked. But there were some chapters or passages within chapters that annoyed me. Especially the constant repeating about what people can do with their allomantic power.

Yes, we were aware that Spook has superhuman enhanced senses because of his constant tin burning, thank you, I don’t need it confirmed every other sentence.

 

And I did love how this whole trilogy was set up. You think you know how the world works and this book shatters it all, and I loved it!

I loved this book! It made my heart ache and I was sobbing once it was over. Very well written with a beautiful set of complex characters. I do recommend this book for fans of fantasy with high stakes and world ending topics.
