This book shredded the little piece of soul that I had left. I was not expecting that ending. I wish I was smart enough to have imagined it, but I really didn't. It completely took me by surprise, and even after all the evidences I had faith in the Hero of Ages as Sazed did.
I have so many words to describe this book -the trilogy in general- and how good it is that I could write an essay on it, but, alas, I'm so lazy.
This books taps into topics such as religion and loss of faith, depression, believing in oneself, magic -awesome and so well explained magic system, mind you-, responsibility, love, war...etc. It's an amalgamation of things that at one point in your life you have asked yourself about. Everything is so intertwined, even little details from book one are pivotal in book 3. And the characters are just...jodidamente maravillosos.
Anyway, these books are great, Sanderson is great and I can't wait to read more of his work.
