I did enjoy this book but it was definitely not as good as unhoneymooners
Sexy and sweet, many moments that made me laugh. This story is one of those what you read and realize it was just what the doctor ordered. Where can I find my own Calvin?
These bitches really do write the cutest books. If you just want a cute, charming, fluffy romance, they’re your girls. And this time the guy is Irish and the chick has 2 gay uncles. I mean.
Loved the characters in this one. Sure, the setup is ridiculous, but that’s ok. Go with it for the lovely, happy fluff it is. Ending was a bit abrupt so I feel like it’s a 4.5, but I suppose that’s the formula. Slow relationship building, relationship, misunderstanding, reunion. It’s a decent formula sometimes.

The last 10% seemed a bit off to me based on how Holland and Calvin acted throughout the entire book. That’s my only complaint though. This was adorable and funny, and I was seriously rooting for them. I adored Holland’s uncles and their relationship with her.
I love how things turned out with Lulu because wow! IYKYK.
~Holland has had a crush on a certain street musician for longer than she cares to admit considering she still hasn’t built up the courage to speak to him. When she’s mugged, she sees and speaks to him more than she ever has before. When she gets Calvin an audition with her uncle, it becomes clear why he’s avoiding law enforcement.~

It was okay. The musical theatre parts were interesting, the rest was a bit odd and the main character wasn't likeable at all.
Someone please recommend me more books like this
I am usually a big Christina Lauren fan but this one fell really flat for me. Also, why was the MMC constantly putting on chapstick? It's made me self conscious. Every time I grab my aloha coconut or my carmex, I'm wondering, "Is my narrator describing this every time? Please chill narrator. I just want unchapped lips."
I love the Beautiful books, so I’m not surprised I loved this one too! Great story, super cute.
I tink this book is brilliant!
I listened to the audiobook and KC Sheridan does a fantastic Irish accent.

This was such a sweet book about love but also loving oneself. It’s about not having a career that you love and feeling lost and wondering how to get back a passion and it honestly was so moving. Also the sexy parts were soooo sexy hehe
