I like the info from the author on this one- she felt like Diane’s story needed to be told. I can definitely appreciate the story and think it was well written, but it was also weird for me to jump to her perspective in such a romantic (spicy) way after reading so much from Jenn and Cletus’s perspectives. Very well written, but I struggled more with this one

I will always read Penny Reid's Winston Brother books no matter what. I have never been impressed with Diane Donner. She did Jennifer wrong. She did Issac wrong. Now she has been wronged. I kind of enjoyed it.

But what made Beard in Hiding a good read was Repo. I didn't know he had it in him. I didn't think he could love. But, boy oh boy, that biker can love. He actually, Okay Penny Reid had me swooning. The book is worth the read just to fall for Jason, aka Repo.

Fun follow up to Cletus and Jennifer's story in [b:Beard Science|23337872|Beard Science (Winston Brothers, #3)|Penny Reid|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1412692519l/23337872._SY75_.jpg|42897371]. It's a tribute to Ms. Reid's writing that she can make Diane, Jennifer's unlikable mother, sympathetic, but the ending dragged on quite a bit.
