An amazing book, following Piketty's (a well known French economist, author of the masterpieces "Capital" and "Capital and Ideology") work, reflecting on major differences regarding American economical classes. It provides you with an overview on how movements like "Occupy Wall Street" are bringing these discussions to public, by pinpointing the 1% vs the other 99%.
From the historical European aristocratical systems, to the New Deal and Gold Society era (Franklin Roosevelt) to the decreasing of democracy itself (originated by Reagan's presidential capitalist policies) you'll understand how a new systems must be designed, otherwise the economical environment will continue moving towards the feudalist levels from the European era.
