2.5 stars. This was... fine? I guess? I didn't like the insta-love without actually knowing anything about each other, or that they exclusively referred to each other as "Baby," "Papa," and "Daddy." I get that it's a rewrite of Goldilocks, but I still would like to know the characters' actual names.
I don't usually go for fairytale retellings - I think I was turned off them when I read M/F but Helen Juliet has completely changed my mind with Golden...

This mixed the erotic and the fairy tale very well. The good guys were great, the bad guys were terrible, and the sex scenes were . . . well, erotic is probably the best word. I don’t read a lot of this sort of thing, but after reading Wild Ride recently, I thought I’d try another of these fractured fairy tales. Recommended for a quick fun read.

This was quite short but it was good and entertaining. I wish this was longer so the relationships had more time to develop, particularly Goldie and Baby.

For me, I think Helen Juliet is one at the best of retelling fairy tales into MM romances. Golden may be one of the shorter stories but it still lacks a lunch with sweetness, heat, drama, heat, great characters and a bit more heat.
Goldie ends up in a no win situation, accepting to do some on camera work for a studio and ends up with one of the most famous throuples in the business. Daddy was determined to make the young, golden haired boy his as soon as he saw his photo and when he turns up on their doorstep, he along with his partners, Papa and Baby, are drawn to him. Their connection is immediate and there is no denying their chemistry. By the end of the weekend, it's evolved into so much more than anyone could have expected but drama unfolds and leaves anger and questions abound.
I loved this from the start as we jump in with existing drama before diving into the hot and sexy times between four men that are so in tune with each other and their spark ignites immediately. Daddy is clearly in charge from the moment he opens the door and I adore the way that the characters loosely match up with the fairy tale ones. Each man brings their own personality to the story and their family, working so well together with Goldie fitting in with the established triad so easily. Even with it being a shorter story, I could feel the emotional connections they made and enjoyed how things evolved for them across the book.
Definitely a recommended read and I so love that I know the area that the story is set in for once! :-)

I absolutely loved this fairytale retelling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Goldie is in a bad situation and is offered a way out by starring in an adult video with the three bears, Daddy, Papa and Baby. This is a high heat story that jumps right into the action so to speak. I loved how sweet and innocent Goldie was as well and just wanted to give him a cuddle!
