I absolutely LOVED this book! The way it's split between the two points of view wasn't confusing. It just added to the overall story.

I always wondered about the 2nd ship that John saw in his visions in the first book, and my curiosity has been partially satisfied with the introduction of Ella.

I hope that John and Nine are able to rescue Sam before having to meet up with Six and the others.

Menurut rekomendasi goodreads.com , The Power of Six dipenuhi aksi petualangan dan perkelahian bela diri yang membuat pembaca tidak bisa lepas dari buku ini. Bayangan saya langsung merujuk pada tetralogi The Bourne.
Kenyataannya? The Power of Six adalah kisah yang terlalu banyak aksi sampai-sampai membuat ceritanya kering.

This book was one of the most fun sci-fi books I've ever read! I loved the action, the new characters, the aliens, and their powers! But I have 2 reasons why I only rated it 4 stars: First, the characters kept repeatedly making awful mistakes and not thinking before they act, which frustrated me. And second, it had a bit more language than I'd like. Otherwise, it was a great read!

Sadly, the writing in this series seems to break down completely in this book. The characters become less and less likable and the plot is just one action scene after another. Don't think I'll bother with the rest of this one.

When I first read this, I didn't like it as much as I Am #4. What I liked abt that one was the relentless action without the pretense of a story. That's what I dislike abt Power at first, the pretense of some sort of character driven plot. This time around, I appreciated it much more. I mean, this isn't literary anything, but kids like it. Now to check out Rise of Nine, though I promised myself I wouldn't read it!
