how has this woman fostered 150 kids and still doesn't understand how underfunded and overworked social workers are?

Yleensä näissä kirjoissa on keskitytty tietyn tapauksen seuraamiseen.

Knowing the signs of postnatal depression and psychosis is so important and that professional help is given as soon as possible. I love Cathy Glass' books but prefer when she focuses on one child she's fostering at the time - can really see their connection grow. Samson was my favourite!

Being on the lookout for PPD is so important, and this book emphasizes the stigma around it and how we need to help moms rather than expect them to get better on their own.

I was lucky enough to win this book through a Goodread's giveaway and really enjoyed it. I particularly liked the writing style which made it easy to read and yet it also covered a range of issues including postnatal psychosis, which I had never heard of before. This is the first book I have read by Cathy Glass and I'll definatly be reading more.

This books was a very gripping and interesting read that brought tears to my eyes by the end highly recommended.
