This is an emotional and compelling read that provokes and reflects the candid truth about how serious physical bullying as well as cyber-bullying can have such a huge impact on people. The story starts off with Nathan losing his brother to suicide, but Al was just the kid everyone loves and admires, he was going places in the future, yet Nathan did not know why he committed suicide. And so this story follows Nathan, as well as Megan as they piece together clues and hints on what might have happened to Al.

first of all, this book cover is insane. second of all, the subject matter is devastating but so good, not sensationalised or melodramatic
Spoiler(but ngl that car crash scene at the end is melodramatic af)
. my only complaint would be the pacing in the first half is too slow, but I have that issue with most books about grief cos I get bored too easily so I need to improve my attention span.

This is such a devastating yet hopeful book. I need some time to process my feelings but I’ll definitely recommend this to everyone. However, I’ll also advise reading the blurb first—lots of trigger warnings + it’s an emotionally exhausting read.
