An eye opening read, but not surprising. So well researched.

Rich people are allowed to live WAY too long. Frustrating af but Mayer balances it with some tasteful sarcasm to make it not only bearable but relatable. Thanks for your service, Jane Mayer 🫡

Found myself shaking my head about as much as you’d expect. The portion about Act 10 in Wisconsin was very well put together.

Should be required reading. Immensely insightful look into how American politics has been infected by a small group of ultra rich megalomaniacs. I knew the Kochs were bad but wow, I can't imagine the lack of connection they must have to their fellow man. No one who has any morality, or any faith in a kind God, could act the way they do. Everything they say they believe in is just a front to get what they want, more money and power. Greed personified. Cartoonishly evil. I feel like I need a shower just thinking about them.
