A random kindle book I checked out from the library. Reading it in sunny Punta Cana. A plot about a woman who creates planners. It doesn’t get any better. Perfect!

3.5/5 - I MOSTLY liked Meg and Reid. There were some things about them I didn’t like so much. And there were some elements of the story that I wasn’t in love with. I didn’t totally get the entire ending. I felt like it was sudden and didn’t get explained all that well. Overall, though, a light read and good for Summer.

This is a book that does not translate well into audio. It is about signs and lettering so listening on audio really detracts from the whole experience. As for the book itself, it is deservedly polarizing. I liked parts of it while others were a slog. Overall, the concept is great. It is a unique read.

This book didn't do it for me. Most of the time, I was so confused at what was going on. Honestly, I still don't understand the font game that Meg and Reid play in the game. And I thought Meg to be somewhat...annoying. The book was unique and had the potential to be quite cute, but not for me.

Aw this was actually nice.

Love Lettering is about a woman named Meg who does hand-lettering for many things which has made her quite popular. Something else she's good at is reading the signs that other people miss. When she met Reid and his fiancée, she knew their relationship was doomed to fail. When she puts a secret word into their wedding program, she didn't expect anyone to see it but Reid does. A year later he tracks down Meg to find out how she knew.

While this book was slower than I'd like, I'm not mad. This book is quiet and it gives some major [a:Taylor Jenkins Reid|6572605|Taylor Jenkins Reid|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1493925431p2/6572605.jpg] vibes. Not quite to actually promise it but still enough to think about.

This romance is a slow build but it's nice and honestly they were so soft and CUTE. I loved their chemistry and they actually worked out their problems like adults and talked to each other too?? I've been reading so much trash lately don't @ me but it was so nice to see this.

The plot did get a little wild at the end and that twist was so ??? but I enjoyed this one. I'm so glad to see a book with such a nice cover actually be good too.

"The point is...sometimes fighting isn't about leaving, it's about staying."

This book was an absolute delight and refreshingly unique. I adored Meg and Reid immensely. It was a captivating, slow-burn romance between two vastly different people. I can't wait to read more from this author.

I seldom don't recommend audio, but reading is best to fully experience the beautiful artistic aspect.

Love Lettering is a beautiful love story that follows artist Meg who is best known for her incredible calligraphy that she uses to make designs for the NYC elite. When she accidentally plans a calendar for Reid and his fiance that shows hints that their marriage will fail she assumes nobody will notice. Little does she know that Reid is obsessed with patterns and he stops by a year later to ask her how she knew his relationship was doomed. As they begin to spend more time together they learn they have almost nothing in common. She is whimsical, and he is data driven. But, as they grow closer, they begin to learn it might not matter. This story is so beautifully written and heart warming. I love the slow burn that leads to Reid and Meg getting together! The setting of NYC is so perfect and the opposites attract trope is at its best in this book. I can’t wait to read more books by Kate Clayborn!
