Lina is Knox’s ex girlfriend and current one of best friends. She doesn’t share her emotions much and she is a love them and leave them type.
Nash is a settle down and get married type and Knox’s brother.
They meet trying to save Naomi ( at the end of book 1). They can’t keep their eyes off of each other. But know they aren’t meant to be.  But Nash feels alive when he is near her for the first time since he has been shot.
They make an arrangement to start sleeping together ( just sleeping). And things pick up from there. They both let their guards down for each other and have to learn to give love in different ways.

Nash and Lina are a textbook definition of slowburn and enemies to lovers. Those two had tension you could cut by the first page. I love the story and Knox and Naomi are still so involved in this book. The epitome of two stubborn people together <3

I really enjoyed this book, truly a solid sequel to Things We Never Got Over! This one did take me a little while to get into- partly because I didn’t feel well and partly because I needed to jog my memory of the plot of the first book in the series. Let me tell you though once I started hitting a groove with the book it was game over. I loved Lina and Nash, they cared about each other right from the start even if sparks were flying as they argued. I liked seeing their relationship evolve. This series also has a great cast of characters. I love that this book is romantic suspense but also is sweet and funny and spicy, it really delivers on all fronts. I am dying to read Lucian and Sloane’s book next.
